A Profikomp Ltd. is one of the leading waste management companies in Hungary with more than ten years of professional experience in the management of organic waste and composting. The company holds an ISO 9001 certificate.

The main activities of Profikomp Ltd. are the following: environmental engineering, designing composting plants, distributing composting technology, machinery and equipment, and providing professional advice.

Profikomp Ltd. is the exclusive Central-Eastern European sales representative of the German W.L. GORE & Associates GmbH, which produces environmental technological equipment such as the GORE^TM-Cover laminates especially developed for composting, biological dry stabilisation and soil decontamination.

In recent years Profikomp Ltd. has installed numerous composting plants all over Hungary that produce valuable soil improvement material or compost from various types of organic waste (green waste, sewage sludge, paper fibre sludge, fungi compost, animal as well as tannery waste).

One of the aims of our research and development activities is to find a solution for effectively reducing the amount of the organic component in mixed municipal waste. With our achievements in biological dry stabilisation we expect dynamic improvement in this field, too, in the near future.
